Grants

From time to time the Progress Association applies for Grants. This is undertaken by our Grants Sub Committee and can cover various items.

In recent times we applied for and had approved, a grant for uplifting the Community Function Centre to provide air conditioning and solar generation.

As of September 2025, we have a submission lodged with the RACQ Foundation to improve resilience by adding a battery bank to the Community Functions Centre Centre so that we remain operable with power in an adverse weather event. This means that we can continue to provide a gathering place for the community in extreme weather events – with power!
